             Considering the importance of Rural non-farm sector as a means to enhance employment opportunities for the rural population, NABARD apart from its multifarious refinance functions has launched some promotional schemes for interventions in areas such as entrepreneurial development, skill up-gradation, technology up-gradation, marketing support, with emphasis on development of clusters, formation of self help group.
